Six troops kidnapped in Swat

MINGORA: Unidentified men kidnapped six security personnel and a driver from Swat in separate incidents on Monday, according to official sources. The sources told Daily Times that two of the troops and the driver of an ambulance were kidnapped from Charbagh area when they were returning from Khwazakhela. The four other troops were kidnapped from Khwazakhela tehsil. The sources said an operation had been launched to recover the abducted troops. No group has claimed responsibility for the abductions. ghulam farooq
